Welkeo

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 1 June 2026 · Applies to the Welkeo early-access website.

Draft for review. This policy is a good-faith starting point for a pre-launch site that only collects an email address. It must be reviewed by a qualified solicitor and updated before the product launches or any further data is processed.

1. Who we are

Welkeo ("we", "us") operates this website to let interested people join an early-access list for a forthcoming web-accessibility product. For any privacy question, contact welkeo@proton.me. For UK/EU data-protection purposes, we act as the data controller for the information described below.

2. What we collect

We do not ask for names, payment details, or any special-category data.

3. Why we use it, and our lawful basis

We use your email only to notify you about Welkeo's launch and early-access offer. Our lawful basis is your consent, given when you submit the form. You can withdraw it at any time (see your rights below) — every email we send will include an unsubscribe link.

4. Who processes it

Form submissions are handled by our form provider, Formspree, Inc., acting as our processor, and stored in our email inbox. Formspree is based in the United States, so your data is transferred outside the UK; that transfer is made under the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses) together with Formspree's own safeguards. We do not sell, rent, or share your email with third parties for their own marketing.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your email until Welkeo launches and we've told you, or until you ask us to remove it — whichever comes first. In any case, if we have not launched within 24 months, we will delete your email and ask you to re-confirm if you still want updates. If the project does not proceed, we will delete the early-access list.

6. Your rights

Under UK GDPR / EU GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or erase your data, to withdraw consent, to object to or restrict processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email welkeo@proton.me and we'll action it. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office, ico.org.uk).

7. Cookies

This early-access site does not set advertising or analytics cookies. If that changes, we'll update this policy and ask for consent where required.

8. Changes

We'll post any updates here with a revised date.
